Mud House
Located at Camp Edgar, the village mud house is the first of its kind in Negros Island. Formed using a mixture of subsoil, water, rice husk, lime and rice straws woven carefully and neatly in a matrix of a giant bamboo grid, this mud house is expected to last more than a hundred years. It’s a unique and affordable eco-friendly housing option, beautifully-decorated with the province’s local art pieces. For adventurous travelers who want a unique experience, the Mud House has a private bath and is available for overnight stays.
